Headblade ATX vs headblade eclipse
« on: February 21, 2013, 05:28:20 PM »
Hi guys. I just ordered the steel eclipse and as soon as I pressed the order button I immediately had buyers remorse because of the price. I've been a headblader for years. Love it.

Is the eclipse really worth the $75 price?

Is it any better than the ATX?

I got to know if I made a wise decision or a really wasteful one.

The HeadBlade Eclipse is WAY different than the ATX. If you like the HeadBlade Sport, then you'll LOVE the Eclipse.  If you have only used the ATX, then this is going to be a different razor as you will be pushing the blades rather than pulling them.

I've used the sport. I liked it.

Was the $75 worth it? If so why?

I have to explain this out to the wife when she sees the statement. LOL

You'll know it was worth it the first time you use it.  As for explaining it to your wife...I'm leaving that one up to you.

Is it just the extra weight Tyler?

I am keen to give one a whirl at some point!

The extra weight is the key as it helps it feel more balanced and easier to shave.  It really does help get a smoother shave.
