Damn You HeadBlade!!!

I know I have torn the HB down before and have been back and forth about it. I also know that I recently admitted to going back to it but I went to shave this morning with it and took a huge chunk out of the back of my head. Plus sliced the ear really bad. I think I'm really done with this thing this time. I was taking my time and everything. It's like I said before, the HeadBlade is an awesome razor. I'll give it that. I don't know if any other can get as smooth as the HB does and keep it down for as long as it can. But the thing that I can't get passed is that if you make one mistake with it, press a little too hard, etc...Watch out. I'm not going to say never but for now I'm putting it back in storage for a while.

Damn You HeadBlade!!!
Somehow I pictured you like Charleton Heston on the beach at the end of Planet of the Apes shouting at the sky 'Damn You HeadBlade!!!'
Sorry that happened dude. Have you had too much coffee

and are too unsteady? Do you have the sport with the wheels. Since I've had my S4 (wheels), I have probably only dinged myself a few times. With the original HB, I was more apt to have an accident if I was too much in a hurry. Heal well my friend.

Are you using double blades or trips? I find that with Trips you are less likely to cut yourself. Consider them training wheels until you can move up the doubles...

don't know what to say....
It works for some, but not all. Bottom line, stay sly. Oh, try not to bleed to death along the way.

Dude...as long as you get to the sly side...it shouldn't matter at all, mach3 or I'm sure the shick extreme will do you nice and slick, like you're used to...
last time I checked this wasn't the official Headblade site, or is it?
Hope you heal fast from the gash!

well for me I've tried the mach3, fusion and disposable extreme3..
fusion to expensive to replace blades.
extrem3 H**S** nice to have it do the shape of your head but.. I get big red bumps using it.
HB.. got one used it .. and was not comfortable with it.. so..
Mach3 never got disapointed.. except for one time the blades didn't last 4 shaves.. other than that it's Mach3 for me
next step when I have some 120.00 spare change I will get the electric wet and cool..

Appreciate the post Lance, keeps me from getting complacent while shaving! I've mentioned it before in previous posts that my remaining hair is thin, so it's really easy to keep it SLY. I can use any razor, but prefer the HeadBlade because of the ease of the combing motioning...keeps my routine automatic and short.

I don't think so but have you ever noticed that when some says something bad about the HB or doesn't use it they end up disappearing?

Yeah, I gave the Mach 3 a try a while back but the blades always ran out way too quick for me like you said they did for you the one time.

Being sly is Job #1. How you get there is up to you.
