Casting another vote for Polartec - light, warm and leaves no fuzz whatsoever. I bought a Polartec Buff just last November and it's been a lifesaver in the cold spells (plus it looks ace :))

I'm a huge fan of the Buff!

When I wear other hats, my friends seem to be amused as they pick fuzz out of my stubble.  LOL.  Reminds me of apes "cleaning" each other!  Must see video - hilarious in this context:
