Tomorrow will be a little anxiety ridden but I think it'll be fairly low key.
It may not happen tomorrow, but don't be shocked when you receive an unexpected head rub! I was quite surprised when it happened and it's become a common event. Awesome ....

Nice. Like you said its not that big of a change. But once you decide to take the challenge of shaving it. That will be the difference maker.

Welcome, looks great, a lot better after!
Regarding the tan, enjoy the traditional way; fake tan looks... fake.
Enjoy the look and when you get the itch to go the hair even shorter make sure you have a good razor.

Yeah, fair enough Andrei. And thanks! Not doing anything else major for a while. Gonna keep the 0 for 30 days and see how the scalp skin balances out. My guess is that it's never really "breathed" like this before so it needs to balance itself out.
Thanks Joe and SirHarry

All in all, I'm happy. Nervous, but happy.
After a full day at work tomorrow, I should be coasting. I'll pop in a few times during the day and keep you updated on the comments I get, haha.

Looks really good Stifferd. Believe it or not once you shave it with a razor, it will improve the blemish issue over time. I think it was Beardman who told me this and he was right. I had blemish issues too and after a couple weeks my scalp started to look good. I think it is because shaving with a razor is slightly exfoliating. It is a known fact that shaving helps make the skin look younger. So what you can not get squared away right now, will definitely take care of itself once you go sly.

I would not worry about the color/tone of your scalp. I first shaved my head in January.
Went from a zero to shaved, like you are proposing to do. few noticed. The difference between zero and shaved is in the FEEL, not so much the look. The feel of shaved is incredible.
Your pic looks great. It should go over well at the office.
Welcome.

Thanks, guys. Already got a "you look the same" which is good.
And I walked around a bit in the office and no one's taken a double take yet.
It's all in my head!

You have a very similar hairline to mine. to be honest no one said that much when I did mine, I think they just knew I was helping things along! I have had more comments from people saying they noticed how much my hair was going, like they understood why I did it!
