Red Sox
« on: February 10, 2013, 06:11:08 AM »
As a Sox fan foreverI for one am hoping that this season coming up will be a fresh start. Their annual Truck Day when they leave Fenway and head south happened this week. Let's hope for a good season. Fenway deserves a team worthy of playing in that beloved park. Any other Sox fans out there- let's see if there are any shaved heads the likes of Yooook this year.

They spent more than the Yankees, not sure they spent wisely.
Best move they made this offseason was getting rid of Valentine.

I'm an Orioles fan and can't stand the Red Sox or Yankees. They both have been buying their ways to the top of the division for years.
And no... it's not sour grapes... I know they are within the rules but the rules are unfair because of the way the cash is distributed.

Anybody see "Moneyball". I can't believe that the Red Sox offered that guy $12,500,000.00.

I'm an Orioles fan

That is a ROUGH life dude, a rough life :-p

I'm a life-long Sox fan who recently moved into Boston (from Maine) and my interest in the Sox has waned in the last two years of my college career (the last couple seasons have sucked and I was busy with my studies). But I'm hoping, since I live in Boston now, that being in the heart of things I'll get back into it and if I get tickets I can just walk to the games! w00t!

I would agree that Valentine took them further off the track . Gone are the likes of YAZ- dating myself here and more recently Wakefield-one of my favs.

I'm more of a Giants fan. I also like any team that's beating the Dodgers!
