You can checkout any time you like,
But you can never leave!
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

Right now, for me it would be either Deep Purple's "The Battle Rages On" or Queen's "The Show Must Go On"

Love both songs and their meanings......

Very very hard to choose.  I'd have to say YESTERDAY is my favorite, perfectly composed and performed song ever.

well from my wedding "Pour some sugar on me" by Def Lepard played as I removed the garter.

To be played at my funeral I would have to say "Another bites the dust" by Queen. My family would understand due to my sense of humor

Not my all time favorite song, but definitely my funeral song.

PanterA - Floods

"Wash away us all, take us with the flood.."

Allow me to wave my redneck flag with pride and name "Freebird" by Skynyrd as the perfect funeral song.  That song also takes me back to my first concert when I was 16 and surrounded by huge biker dudes while Skynyrd played Freebird and I just stood against the fence and watched.  It was great.

Jeffrey, you do realize that Freebird is older than you?  Not that there is anything wrong with that.  It just made me feel old because I remember when it first played on the radio.   *!d
How is that Hopey / Changey thing working for you?

Yes, indeed.  I do realize that Freebird is older than me.  Most of the music I listen to is.  I grew up listening to Skynyrd, the Allmans, Marshall Tucker, Charlie Daniels, etc.  Was nice that when I saw them live in 96 there were still several of the original band members playing.  Leon Wilkerson was still alive and on bass.  Gary Rosington was there (I think he's the only original left) and Billy Powell was still playing piano.  Great concert.  Paul Rogers from Free and Bad Company was the opening act.
