Another welcome Chad.
You might consider changing your perception of head shaving from a chore to a hobby or a craft which is to be enjoyed. It really is great to have a few minutes when you are focused on being kind to yourself.
I shave every other day.
I agree with Mike: takes about 6 to 7 minutes for me. Don't try to rush -- the time you save will be taken up by the amount of time it takes to stop the bleeding.
FG also makes a good point: it's an opportunity to pamper ourselves. Get yourself a good shaving brush and experiment with good shaving soaps.
I agree. I shave every other day and it is my time to reflect on the important issues and also to feel the newly smooth scalp which is a bonus in itself.
Every two or three days works for me and slow down it's not a race.
Hey Chad,
Saw you were online. I have just been shaving for three weeks and get the tired of shaving already routine. However, I had a flattop for 20 years and went to the barbershop weekly to get tuned up. Shaving beats driving to the BS and waiting. Are you still shaving? I have found I have it down to 5 minutes.

5 minutes should be everyone's goal. It's still a pain-in-the-ass, daily, but manageable.
When I hear guys taking 10 minutes or long, I . . . .
