How to remain and build up confidence

I was wondering how I can remain confident in myself and my bald head. I am really started to lose it here. I'm 16 and i go to a high school where kids like to say things like "Don't get the shine in my eyes baldy!" I am very proud of my dome, but I need some tips on how to remain confident, ignore the idiots, and continue being sly. Any thoughts?

Kids are cruel but I ignored all of it and find that is the best solution. I am in the 9th grade and everyone who says something bad I shut them out and pretend they aren't there. It will help you a lot if just didn't listen to them. Also the only reason they are probably teasing you is because they are probably are going to be bald in the future and don't like the idea of getting rid of their hair and doing something about it. Usually kids only tease others because they are being hurt in some other way. Hold your head up high and don't let them get to you.

Well I am not one to get angered easily either, but the thing you have to do is be the better person. If you start throwing punches then you are no better then they are. If they are picking on you (which it is calling bullying) and this what I would do is report them they will learn not to mess with you. You are going to have let someone know before it gets out of hand. Control the fire while you still can. Be cautious though if they try and hit you don't hit back just try and get to the nearest teacher or other faculty in the building before it gets out of hand. Be the better person don't let me people calling you a snitch because in the end you are doing yourself a favor of protect you. If it continues or gets worse make sure you let someone know that this is going on. No one deserve to be treated like this.

Just ignore them. People, especially high schoolers, will look for any excuse to put people down, even if the excuse is a positive trait. Unless they actually enjoy the fact that you're around and are trying to involve themselves, they're just looking for a reaction, and the worst thing you can do to them is refuse to acknowledge their existence.
Who cares what they have to say, you have more guts to look like yourself than they do for themselves.

thank you all, its been a rough day, they are neither bullying me or trying to pick a fight with me. I am extremely proud of being sly, and usually arnt as angered by it. But i had a personal problem that everyone knew about and they called me out on it in the middle of class today... which was a very embarrasing problem, thats what made me most upset, but still thank you for trying to help me.

First, slyjoe, welcome! I know what it's like to be picked on in school, and as tempting as it is to punch the lights out of someone ignorant, but if you do that, in actuality, they win.....If it makes you feel better, I'm 40 years old and work with GROWN MEN who have the maturity level of about a sixth grade girl.....men who have nothing better to do than to find fault in someone else's possessions, skin flaws, thinning hairlines, etc. As Crusher put it, it's best to alert adults when these teens threaten you about your hairstyle or whatever. But sometimes some of these teens who act like donkeys need a good comeback line: Here's a few:
1. You must be having a bad hair day....I'm having a good no hair day
2. I don't entertain stupidity, I let stupidity entertain me
3. Is that dandruff on your shirt? Maybe you should shave your head too!
Ok, maybe these are a little weak, but there's nothing wrong with verbal defense if you need it. Good luck!

Thank you very much Harry, good comebacks. I do appreciate all the words of advise you have given me. I will try to deal with it in a mature manner.
