The first cut was the hardest

I was thinking about shaving off the horseshoe for about two months.  At 3:00 p.m. on January 1, while my wife was napping, I went into the bathroom, got out the clippers, and stared at my head.  Then, with a deep breath, I started clipping it off.  I got two bad cuts during the first shave, but compared to what I did to by face at fifteen during THAT first shave, these were nothing.

My wife likes it.  My co-workers like it.  And most importantly, *I* really like it.

Now, if only the shaved area would hurry up and tan...

Please have a complimentary virtual head rub. It looks good. Like your story.

I only told a few friends and the guys here on sbg that I was going to shave my head. It was a surprise to everyone else. Positive comments from all. And now, its just me. Everyone likes the look.

It can be difficult until the first shave, but then it's way more difficult to stop shaving :)

HOW TRUE! Here I go again. Time to shave my head. Can't wait. It will be a year of shaves on Saturday. The smooth head is very satisfying.

Nice job I have started trying to talk my dad into shaving off his horse shoe. He just doesn't want to give it up. He was not happy when I went sly but said it's your head just don't get sick lol.
