maybe the solution is to stop using whatever you are (vs adding a lotion)

How do you shave? What kind of shave cream/gel do you use? How do you treat your scalp after shaving?

Do you have hard water at your house?

What is your post-shave moisturizer, if any?

Other than the lotion.

I would suggest Head Lube

IMHO you can't go wrong with anything from HeadBlade

There is Matte finish and Glossy, I use both depending on the day and what I'm doing.

Hey Matt, welcome.
I use HeadBlade products, and the Matte finish HeadLube is awesome (sure the glossy is too, but just have never used it).

I also use L'Oreal Comfort Max After Shave Balm (with SPF15). It's awesome.

Cheers!

this is only done at night...

after shower getting ready for bed I put on welllllllllllllllllll... diaper cream........... :-[

this I do only when necessary.. see the reason is that I get allot of irrtation from the sun I had tried everything either mentioned on the other site that I've been a member for several years.. and even on this site here.. lotions, oils whatever.. it was not working.. one evening my wife says Dan.. you've got really bad irritation in the back of you head.. I said I know.. but WTF can I do.. look in the cabinet...almost a pharmacy in their.. she goes away for several minutes comes back.. she says  trie this.. if it's good for private parts of a baby.. surely it can't hurt to try well I did.. and for 4bucks will last years.. and I'm able to maintain my shave.......

Hey dany, it's great you found something that lets you keep the sly look but...........could it be that your wife just wanted to give headrubs to a dome as smooth as a baby's bottom? j/k :*))

LMAO

good one Paul..

actually it's called  equate.. can only be found at walmart.. but diaber cream is diaper cream..

I'm using it since last friday... everynight.. beleive me no red spots, no dry skin.. takes care of ingrown hair..

so might be something to consider.. and in a few days like Paul says.. the lady can't keep her hands off..

aahahahaha
