Wondering what temperature of water do you shave with? cold, warm, hot, very hot?
Do you think there's a difference in using one or the other? -

I have tried all temps, and in fact I posted about the benefits and pleasures of cold water shaving; I was wrong.
Hot is best!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In this area the domestic hot water must not exceed 125°F (52°C).
At that temperature it feels great, it will not scald you, and the soap lathers well.
Did I say "It also feels GREAT " -

Another vote for hot water. Sometimes I boil a pot of hot water to make sure it's hot enough for shaving

A good hot shave nothing like it , also if time permits I put a hot towel on my face prior to the shave and set and relax.

Definitely hot for me. It seems to help soften the hair and get it ready for a good shave.

I can't even conceive of anything but hot--to the point of having a large washrag that I soak in hot water, wring out and put on my head sort of like the barbers do with their shaves, while I'm drying off from the shower and lining up the shaving tools.
Cold--damn, that's for after--I'd think it would hurt, increase the possibility of nicks and cuts, and just deflate the shaving creme on the brush. I've never been much on seeing how to make myself uncomfortable. -

Shower shaver, so not to hot but warm, I do like to rinse head with cold water in the summer
