Also do you think we will ever get our chance ?
The only one that asks me is
seems like the speed limit signs are real
can you believe that
I went into a restaurant once, I can't remember where it was. Wisconsin or somewhere like that. I ordered a beer and I was asked for ID. I thought she was kidding but she said they have to ask everyone for ID, even "old guys with walking sticks"
same in Virginia
Hawaii, too. I got carded at a bar at the Honolulu airport when I was 49.
I have yet to have been carded; although people always think I am younger than my real age. I have to thank my mother's side for having the youthful genes. My mother is in her late sixties, and has just started getting wrinkles.
Before growing a beard, I got carded a lot at casinos and during alcohol purchases (not often)....Ever since growing a beard, I have yet to be carded....especially when I don't shave my head for more than three days revealing my MPB in all its glory!
Funny, I got asked for ID while buying a sic-pack at my local Co-op just a couple of weeks ago... didn't have any ID on me either so all I could do was laugh and tell the cashier "Um, that's very flattering but... really?". Luckily she also laughed and rang me up anyway
being 81 now it has been a some years since I was asked to see ID for age. Now on occasion get the question "do you need help getting the groceries to the car" - so each age has some questions.
Since going sly I've been carded everytime I pick up beer for the bf. Places in NYC almost never card so I feel especially flattered
