That certainly is but the way they see (even though I don't work there I don't work anywhere right now) is that you can pull the baldes out and stab someone or just leave like it is and put pressure behind it to cut someone. It is very stupid.

Was the guy that confiscated it sly? Sounds like an excuse to get some free razors bro. Those things are pricey these days.

Wouldn't surprise me. I don't really trust those security screeners.

According to the TSA guidelines in the USA, a Mach3 is a permitted item - http://www.tsa.gov/traveler-information/prohibited-items
Good to know that you can't take axes, dynamite or cattle prods on-board!

i-Pads! Looks like Voodoo might have been correct -- they just want free stuff.

True Story...
On one of my many deployments, myself and another Bro were flying the Commercial Cattle Wagon to Norfolk heading downrange. TSA confiscated our body wash, mouth wash, sunscreen and lotion but let us keep our Leathermans (mil version of a Swiss Army knife),gun cleaning kits, small combat knives!!! Mind you, we were in uniform (desert camos) flying out of St. Louis... Almost created a riot that day because I think half of St Louis was behind us waiting to get thru as well

I believe it. I'm not military, but not long ago I flew to KC and back and had a similar experience. They confiscated all kinds of stupid stuff, but left my Leatherman and Kikkerman survival tool through as carry on.
