All responses have been positive so far, today I ran into an acquaintance (also mpb)  I hadn't seen since going sly, he patted my head and said it was a nice looking haircut.  I was a little taken aback and then proceeded to use it as an opportunity to tell the virtues of going sly...

Any similar first time reactions from other non sly mpb?

Not for me but I did get a lot of people rubbing my head....it is a good feeling too....and loved it

I got my first head-rub about day 3, from a very cute young lady, (a cashier at our local market), I gotta say that at my age it felt very good and was much appreciated.
