Ice Climbing

If you can imagine putting the ice cleats on, and using an ice pick..... the first pic is of an area just below where the ice climbers are.  You will see a guy wearing an orange jacket, and this will give you a scale of just how far up they are.  The climber is going to climb to the top, then he will climb back down.



You can see the guy in the orange jacket, to visualize how high that is.

Thank you switchblade I may head back again next weekend..... with a hot thermos of coffee sittin by the outdoor fire ring lookin up and letting them know, hey you guy's climb real good   :*)) :*)) :*)) :*))

That sounds like a great plan.  ;D  I did some rock climing back in the day , but this is like jumping out of a perfectally good airplane.   ;D  The first photo with the colors in the ice, falls what is that?  Great Shot !

Thank you Switchblade, the ice buildup is from melt and dripping water, then refreezing like making ice cycles and it will be there all winter long.

Mmmmm I'm not over anything, still got it but I have to force myself to go out and get photos.  The color in the ice, is probably someone that spread kool aid or food coloring.
