My goatee has come and gone over the last serval years as I transition through different employers. Facial hair just isn't really acceptable on a whole in the professional aviation community. Lucky, my current employer is fine with it. My wife loves it, saying I look too boy-ish without it. She also keeps threatening to buy me a t shirt she found on Pinterest that says "Bearded for HER pleasure!"   8)

Wife doesn't mind any kind of facial hair once it's gone beyond the rough stubble.

My female students love to touch my facial hair whenever I go a few days without shaving!
