Two part post
In the UK we have shopping channels and there is a presenter who has been with one for years. He has always been shiny sly and to be honest I have always thought how much it suits him and how confident he is. it was nice to see someone rock the look.
Here's a video and some photos
I shaved my hair years ago but he made me think razoring it would be a good idea, as seeing a guy in his late twenties (late thirties now) sly on TV was positive

But just seen he has done THIS!
for someone that looked so confident and has spent years on tv I suppose it shows not everyone is happy with the sly look!
To go thru a hair transplant shows that more than anything!

He looked so awesome, now just awful. Why do you think he did it? Plus he was much more handsome before

The "after" - admittedly a casual capture - doesn't exude any confidence.
Perhaps it's his unattractive twin brother?

Sadly he was probably put under pressure from the shopping channel. For decades women have been pressured in to looking a certain way. Now it is men that are being targeted by the media/advertisers

Humph. I remember that phrase from "How the Camel Got His Humph", Rudyard Kippling.
Humph.
(He looks better with a clean head. )

It reminds me when Chris Daughtry did something like using Rogaine. Thankfully Chris Daughtry went back to being sly!

What's the point of the hair transplant?
Haven't already a lot of people seen him with the bald look? Why the change?
Isn't such a procedure on the unnecessary esthetic surgeries list? because it should be.
IMO there are plenty of businesses that run based on people's insecurities.
I think a part of him will miss the shaving ritual and the bald look.
Any way, each is free to do what he wishes.

In the UK it is called the "Wayne Rooney Effect" Footballer who basically looks like a young Shrek, had a well publicised hair transplant last year.
To be honest, when it is new and buzz cut, doesn't look *that* bad, it's when it grows and starts to look like a soggy shredded wheat stapled to his head, is when it looks the most worst!

Are we sure that it is a hair transplant and not a rug or as I have seen them referred to elsewhere as a 'bio-matrix'?
