Yeah, he is a pretty good boss, as far as bosses go :D I mean he gave me a chance when no one else would, back then I was an a very overweight young guy with no practical experience trying to break into a trade and has stuck with me through a bit of trouble, where he had the perfect opportunity to give me the flick if he wanted too.

As for the swag, I didn't get any condensation inside the swag at all, my swag is really on the cheaper scale, but is still pretty well made for the price, it is Hi country brand, and they have a pretty good rep. If this one ever carks it on me, and I doubt it will, although it's already got it's first battle scar, it came off 2nd best when I was loading it into my fourbie on Thursday vs a steel case with jagged edges, nothing too bad, easily fixed, next time I'll be more careful, we were in a bit of a rush packin up the vehicles to get on the road. It also too no time to dry out either, we got a bit of rain in patches during the trip but for the most part it was really sunny so it dried up nice and quick. The water just beads off it  O0

I'm glad to hear your typing is getting quicker, I've had quite a bit of practice and can type pretty quick when I have too, but it normally leads to a bit of time correcting typos, that and my mind can't process as quick as my fingers can type haha. And I don't think anyone would accuse anyone of being verbose... but if they did they would probably accuse me, I have a habit of spinning a lot of s%!t haha

There was nothing that I really wanted, but aftershave and such never goes amiss! The pillow that you attach an MP3 player too that plays music whilst you sleep was cool.

May be re-gifting some stuff..does anyone else do that??

I don't think I've ever been given something I would want to re-gift, but it's a great idea. Why waste something that someone else might find useful!

You just have to make sure that you don't "re-gift" to the person that you got it from originally!

Based on their performances I gave myself a larger position in Boeing, Ford, Google and Kansas City Southern. I didn't bother to gift wrap the check I sent to the broker, it would have been meaningless to them.

On the receiving end, a really nice calendar from my pharmacy, and another even nicer calendar from a friend in Christchurch who knows of my love of Winter. She found one of New Zealand snow in all twelve months. Delightful.

I've read about the "fun" of Christmas with families, just whose isn't always spelt out. Those days, for me, were on the beach at Table Bay and are long gone. Having real penguins to play with is a child's delight.

Out of the many blessings from a Christmas that I held some emotions back.  This has been the best Christmas that I have had in so many years words just can't express but the brothers and sisters on this board just can't be beat in any way or means !

And this year we all have been blessed in so many ways !

Thanks Brothers and Sisters !  I do not say that lightly !   O0  Let's all keep on Rocking for the SBGF !  O0 8)

I concur with the words of switchy. On Christmas day I spent a large part of it alternating sipping Glenfiddich 12 YO with Glenlivet 12 YO single malt whilst reading messages on this forum and posting replies where appropriate.

I quite simply had the best Christmas day that I have had for years -- maybe ever. This forum is a rare, rare place -- tip of the sun hat to Tyler for managing it so well. And the software that controls the site is brilliant -- still learning what it can do.
