Newish baldie
« on: December 21, 2012, 11:00:25 AM »
Hi guys! My hair is thinning so I've been really bummed by it, in September I used my clippers with the 0 setting and shaved my head while my girlfriend was sleeping. She was really surprised when she woke up next to my bald head. There were some shocked people but for the most part it was not a big deal. My hair has grown since then, and my girlfriend wants me to grow out my hair but man do I miss not having to use shampoo or comb my hair. It was definitely a cool experience!

Welcome Pvpop ... if your hair is thinning it may not be long until your bald head is enjoying that cool experience again.

Of course, you can have it now without waiting for Mother Nature to slowly and agonizingly get you there. I think the choice is yours :-)

Welcome mate,

Have you razor shaved it yet? Looks very similar to the #0 buzz but feels amazing!

Hope you enjoy the place!

Cheers

Looks great. You will like it even better once you get out the razor for a great shave to get a nice smooth dome.

Yes, man. Razor shaving looks almost the same at clippers at zero, but the feel is incredible. The smoothness is adicting. I keep coming back each morning for another smooth dome.  Love shaving my head.

Give it a spin. You won't want to go back to hair.

Welcome mate,

Now you've had that sniff of baldness, I'm sure it wont be long before you are back for more  >:D

If you've still got enough hair to enjoy then go for it, if that's what you want. Me on the other hand, I've been done with hair for the past 6 months and couldn't be happier  O0

Good story man. I love the idea of your girlfriend waking up to unexpectably find a bald head on the pillow next to her. Wish I could have done something like that.

So she wants you to grow your hair out again. The sacrifices that we blokes have to make for our women. Oh well. If you have to grow it back just remember that there is plenty of time in the future to become streamlined again especially with thinning hair. At least you now know that you look great bald so the final, permanent transition should be smooth sailing.

So good news guys. I've decided that since rec league basketball season starts up soon, which I usually grow my hair out for... I'll do something different and razor shave it. My girlfriend has volunteered to assist too. Thanks for the encouragement... I owe it all to you guys.
