The worst I've experienced was being called a skinhead in Boulder Colorado by a hippie due to being out in public with a shaved head  and it didn't bother me since I'm happy with the shaved head

I haven't had anything like that fcb2001, but has made me realise that it is down me and what I want. I just need to stay strong abd not have any doubts about it anymore. It is always good to hear other peoples positive feedback here.

I know I am preaching to the converted but does anyone think it was a bad move for me? The reason I ask is that I have moments of doubt (mainly when people comment on it). I feel more confident with my new look (the majority of the time) but still think about becoming 'one of the crowd' again....

It takes a little time, but eventually people around you get used to it and stop commenting and it all gets easier. Periodically looking back that the "before" photos also helps.

I've only seen a few of your photos, but agree, your photos without hair have this lovable smile. You look happy shaved bald.
