1. my family
2.my lord and belief
3.my health what is left , which is alot more then many have.
4. a roof over my chrome dome.
5.food
6.Coffee !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and a pot to make it in along with fire
7. this BOARD SBGF ! and my friends here, you know who you are
8. a hot bath, good shave , enough to buy the stuff.
9. I could go on , on, we all have problems , and such but I should stop and think more often what I have and not what I don't have .
I need not to say more ! But it takes often bad things to happen to realize how much we have and take for granted . Until we look and consider what we have and the many things to be Thankful For !
May God Bless, you all, and Merry Christmas, , heep your heart and your minds open, and be Thankful !

In the old days alot of us were brought up the old way ! We were not suppose to say I Love You , give a hugg, kiss, pat on the back, saying good job ! Etc.. had to look for grin, smile , maybe nothing. Some parents to this day are the same. It sucks ! I feel that we should all tell those who we love , to say I Love You ! It very well could be the last you see them when they walk out the door. Your kids tick you off, you tick your kids off, this is not a perfect world. But folks we have gotten off the ship. There is alot more said with kindness, or alittle sugar than vinegar .

I admit that I feel I am going through a major rut professionally. I hate to bring religion here, but aside from feeling stripped down of certain things, I know I am thankful, because better things are on their way.
I am thankful to know that although there are more things in need of change, I have been able to see good, personal change in my life this year.

I won't list everything I'm thankful for. One word..... everything.
I also agree about telling those the closest to you that you love them. SInce my Dad passed I realize just how important this is. In our Family we've all always known how the others feel so it often went unsaid. Now I say it to my brother, my Mom, and my favorite Aunt every time I see them.
Peace.... and I wish each of you the Merriest of Christmases with your Loved Ones.

How very true Tom ! I thank God that I raised my daughter as good as we could , not saying that we didn't have our tiffs lol over the years but now she is in the barrel and I worry about my Grandkids , in this time.
But we have alot to be thankful for , all we have to do is take 10 seconds open our eyes and look around.

Family, both old and new, and the fact that God has let me stick around this long, if having good people in your life was equated with money, then I'd be a very rich man.

I've been cogitating on this one for quite a while.
Ultimately, for me, it is simply "special" people. People, as a whole, are fascinating.
Whether blood-related, friends, acquaintances, or even virtual people like yourselves.
Ah, but the "special" people ... to me they are "salt of the earth" honest, "my word is my bond" dependable, non-judgmental, caring and with a wicked sense of (harmless) humor that can take it as well as dish it out when warranted.
I think you know them almost instantly when you connect with them; there's an unspoken rapport.
Bringing this back to SBG, I have been incredibly blessed to encounter quite a few special people here. Some haven't been on the forums lately but we remain in email contact, with many others we exchange private messages, and even an person "meet and greet."
When I consider how fortunate I am to have these connections the world seems a better place and more hopeful.
I wish you all well, regardless of your religious or non-religious traditions at this time of year.
