Thursday Night Football: Who ya got? Cincinnati at Philadelphia
« on: December 13, 2012, 12:19:11 PM »
The Cincinnati Bengals let a golden opportunity slip through their fingers against one NFC East team this past weekend, the Dallas Cowboys. The Bengals need desperately to prevent the same from happening again on Thursday night when they visit the struggling Philadelphia Eagles, who will be led by QB Nick Foles. Cincinnati's bid to record its fifth straight victory and eighth overall was thwarted by the Cowboys on the final play and heartbreak to the loss. As a result, the Bengals remain two games shy of AFC North-leading Baltimore and a tiebreaker behind Pittsburgh for the final playoff berth in the conference.

The Eagles surprisingly beat the Tampa Bay Bucs this weekend, 23-21 but their playoff chances have long been dashed and this is a team playing for the next season.

Look for A.J. Green to exploit an Eagles secondary which has the second least total interceptions in the NFC right ahead of the Cowboys.

Prediction: Bengals 27, Eagles 17 (Bengals cover -4)
