A good dog is a blessing.

They are the best.  I would love to have another.  But to old and can't have one where I am living.  But remember all the good times along with the bad when I had to put them down .  Both around Christmas .  :(

They truly are gifts. I have two aging girls that I got from a rescue 10+ years ago. Every day is a treasure with them - which I know will not go on indefinitely. Each day provides special memories for the future. None will ever be able to replace them, but there are so many that need homes I can't imagine not having a dog in my life.

I used to have a shih tzu. I lost him in 2005 just shy of his 18th birthday. Wonderful little dog with loads of personality. They're small in stature but huge in attitude and smart. I think all dogs are smarter than they get credit for.
Hair is over rated.
