It's my Baldaversary today!!

Well guys, it was one year ago today that I finally left my hairloss behind, with the aid of some headslick and a headblade sport, I shaved that dome smooth, and I can't believe the confidence boost I received! Any of you that are sitting on the fence... don't, you will ALWAYS wish you'd done it sooner.

I can't thank Tyler enough for running such a positive and inclusive website, if I hadn't accidentally stumbled across Tyler's video on youtube, I may never have found this site, I probably still would have shaved, but I would have really struggled with my self-image, you guys have supported me from the get go and I just want to say thanks to all the amazing sly guys that have helped me on my way, you guys rock! You showed me how important having hair was... NOT! And you all make it look so cool along the way.

Here's to the next year!! I wish I wasn't so far away so we could meet up for a beer (or 10), but maybe someday we can, I really feel amongst good friends here.

@MrZ I look forward to celebrating yours too, although I'm sure you, like me, have a little party inside the brain every time you feel that smooth dome!

@Mike I'm glad I can contribute, I have been made to feel so welcome, and that people value my input, which really helps with the confidence, and just proves what a great place this is. If people respect me as much as I respect you and many of the older (not that you're old) members, when I am your age, I will know I'm doing something right!

Finally, I can congratulate you on your baldaversary so.... Congratulations!! 1 year is a great milestone. It is amazing how time just flies by. I can remember reading about how it was your 6 month anniversary around the time that I stumbled upon this great community.

Always enjoy reading your posts, and if you ever take the leap across the Tasman I'll definitely be up for a beer or 10!

May there be many more sly years to come  O0
