Electric Razor vs. Electric Clippper
« on: November 29, 2012, 09:57:22 AM »
Hi guys!

I've been sporting the bald look since I was 15 with a full head of hair and a beard and mustache. I've always used an electric razor (like the Wahl Balding Clippers) and have tried all sorts of brands.

I like to find deals online and resell them. I recently bought Braun Series 7 790cc Pulsonic Shaver System for $90 to resell for sweet profit:

http://www.amazon.com/Braun-Series-Pulsonic-Shaver-System/dp/B003YJAZZ4

However, I've actually been thinking about keeping it and using it as I've been kicking around the idea of using an electric razor instead for sometime.  It will be delivered to my door later tonight.

As I'm now 32 , a closer shave would be good to hide my receding hairline and a few grey hairs.

Do you guys prefer electric razors over electric clippers?

How long does it take to do you head with electric razors?  It takes me about 1 to 2 minutes with electric clippers.

Also, is this Braun Series 7 790cc Pulsonic Shaver System a good choice were I to go the electric shaver route?  Or, would I be better off selling it and buying something else?

Thanks for the advice!

Marques

Welcome to the forum!

I used a clipper to 0 buzz my hair, but then I switched to the razor and I like it more.
I never needed an electric razor to shave my head since I'm very comfortable with my razor and replacement cartridges.

I prefer having many choices in what ever and where ever...I am a wet shaver, but also have my trusty Panasonic within reach for when the urge strikes.

Welcome, Marques! I personally prefer the Andis outliner clippers, they do a pretty nice balding job in the absence of a razor. Good luck with whatever you choose!

Hi Marques, I like to shave and now using Braun 790cc like you. I chose it because I saw that it's number 1 in thegoodgears.com.
