30 days in, still don't know
« on: November 21, 2012, 07:57:39 PM »
Hi. So as the title states, I'm 30 days in. But right now, I'm sick, and it's messing with my head and mindset. So I don't know if I'll keep it or not, but I'll post about it when I feel better.

Sorry your not feeling well.that's not the time to make a decision about remaining bald.

When your well you'll want to stay bald.

Feeling ill is never good. Things can take time to get used to. So judge better when you feek better. Try growing sl out to a grade 1 and see if that makes you feel more confidence. OR miss being sly!

I've bee sly since the last week of September, so I'm around the sixty day mark. I reflect on it each day but I am not going back. We were at a resort town last week and absolutely nobody knew me. I truly enjoyed the feeling of being sly and since nobody knew me, there were no questions to answer and no comments. I relished in the trip and felt more manly and real than ever. Also, I did not shave during the week so I was sporting a completely new look by the end of the trip (yesterday). It was so liberating to be free from hair and worry and to just get up and run through the shower and go.

Even after sixty days, I still run into people who haven't seen me yet or didn't know, and have to answer questions and listen to their comments. This happens less frequently, and I don't mind it as much now. But, eventually, it will be a non-issue and I look forward to that.

Give it some more time. By the first of the year, you'll be in a routine and will think less and less about it.

Good luck and I hope it works out for you!

Tim

As the others have said, don't make any decision if you are feeling ill.  Wait until you feel better.  If you still are unsure, try another few weeks sly.

Yeah, I'd hold the final call till I felt better.

It might be a good idea to hold off on shaving till you feel better.  Last thing you need is to gash your noggin because you had a cough or sneeze sneak up on you.

Mother always used to say, your feeling better when you want to eat.

I say your feeling better when you're craving a head shave again.
