Hello,
My first time posting. Main reason for my post is to tell people to stop fighting the inevitable. If your getting older and your hair is receding, just take the plunge and shave it off. I feel so much better now, minus the hair and constantly looking at people's eyes to see if they are looking at my hairline. And since i shaved it alloff Ive gotten more compliments than negative reactions, so there is nothing to lose people. You can regrow your combover if you dont like the way it looks. Glad to be here on this side of the fence saying I did something about it rather than tried desperately to hide it.  O:O

I agree 100%.  Every now and then I get someone who acts nervous around me (unfortunately there is a large skinhead gang presence here) but I usually dispell that by smiling and being friendly with them.

Let me add, whether you are balding, or you have a full head of hair, shaving your head bald is incredible.  It looks great. Feels great.  Very manly. 

So you guys who are not balding ... get your clippers and razors out, too, and become a sly bald guy.

Whether balding or not, graying or not ... going Sly can be quite a transforming experience for the positive.

Wow, thanks fellas..that's a damn good welcoming to the forum. This forum has a ton of info here, and I'm glad to be a part of it. I think guys who take the plunge need a little support at first ;)
