What's your favorite beer?
« on: May 29, 2007, 02:19:12 PM »
So this weekend was great and I spent a good chunk of it having a few cocktails and BBQ'n.  My buddy came down with his family to spend the weekend and he is on a MicroBrew kick.  He brought a bunch down for me to try. Then on Monday my other buddy came to visit.  He has been brewing beer in his apartment for about a year now.  Great blueberry Hefe's, Pale Ale's, and an Alaskan Amber.   It really got me thinking what is the favorite brew of my sly brothers?  Being from the NW I have taken a liking to Mac n Jack's and Alaskan Ambers....... What's your favorite? O0 O0 B33r

Depends on my mood.

I'm a big fan of darker beers, Stouts, Porters and Brown Ales, and the occasional Belgium.

My favorites of recent are:

Samuel Smiths Oatmeal Stout

Lost Coast's Downtown Brown

Deschutes Black Butte Porter

Duvel

Eurpoean Elitist.... :*))

My favorite beer is usually "The Next One". But if I had to pick a brand, I'd go with Red Hook IPA.

Nope... Rum Elitist!  Beer is only for when I can't get rum!

Whew, thought you were going socialist on me.

I'll have rum available if your plans are still on to come on out to the left coast.

Hey Kajun, if you haven't yet, try the Bud Select, less calories than the Light and more real Bud flavor!
