Dude, the buzz looks so much better...

But like kajun said, you've got it in your head to go the way of SLY (eventually)...which means ultimately you wont be happy till you scrape it smooth 8)..

till then, enjoy the buzz, it looks a lot better! O0

It does look great bro, but gotta agree with Andre...if sly is in your head its hard to settle for less.  Enjoy the great new look but get ready....once you go sly you ain't going back O0

Excuse the crappy beard, I was travelling!

Its kinda sad when you look back on photos like this and they are only 2 years old  :(

Ok, sure I can understand , if you weren't the one to choose the option of going sly (myself I've always wanted to have a bald head)....

Question though and answer to yourself honestly , "Do you think a head that is shaved smooth, looks cool?"....Maybe you think it looks awful...but if you've EVER seen anyone that is completely bald and looks cool...

why shouldn't YOU think of yourself like that person?

Personally i think somewhere deep down you have to like/want/ or are curious to have a bald head....to really get into the whole "sly" thing...

if not it'll show and justshaving your head wont make you look "sly"...unless YOU believe it!

Good luck bud, sounds like you're really having a tough time with this!

Yes I do, I pretty much always have.

I am struggling abit but hey Im 23, if it was totally by choice it wouldnt be that bad, but Im just trying to jump before I get pushed. I think Ill look good with a shaved head but still I find it kind of gutting that Ill never be able to grow my hair out again as its too thin now to look good.

I think its also that Im worried about ladies being attracted to me and that shaving my head will symbolise the end of my youth.  I know it sounds abit strange but these are my honest worries.  When I shave my head Ill probably love it and would never go back even if I could.

Im just trying to put some weight on to make myself look abit bigger as Im quite skinny at the moment, then Ill be happy.

p.s.Im not going to beat myself up and resent everyone just because Im losing my hair, Im just abit gutted that it happened this early in my life, I was hoping I could last till my 30s

Mine was much thinner than that in my 20's,best thing i ever did was get it buzzed down.
I knew I was going bald when it was taking longer and longer to wash my face

Hey dude, thanks for being honest...I'm glad you do think bald can look REAL cool...I think even though you're skinny, you'll end up resmebling Michael Rosenbaum from Smallville (lex luther)...he rocks the bald SLY look in a real cool way...and iI don't think he's hurting with the ladies when he's shaved bald for shooting the show...just rememebr, it can give you confidence, if you let it..

hey, maybe your life will get BETTER than it's ever been!?!If you've paid attention, it has for most of the guys here!

Good luck , my one day to be sly brother! 8)

Cheers dude. Its good to have the encouragement. I really dont know how long until I shave my head but at least I know I look decent with a buzzed head, well everyone who has commented except one person has said it looks good, the negative was when he first saw me said it doesnt suit and I should grow it out and I have a head that is "too" round, like I said to him "I dont give a sh*t what you say, I like it!". Most people who i work with havent commented, Ive just had "you joining the army!", "looks smart", etc.

I went round to my grans today but was there literally for 5 second before I went to work, I really dont know if she clocked onto the buzzed head as she is old probably didnt see it clearly. Also my parents get back on saturday and they havent seen me with my new haircut  :*))    So it will be interesting to see their reaction. It might also encourage my brother to shave/buzz cut his hair, which is starting to sadly lack(he is older than me and way more advanced, my hair is the equivalent of his at about 18-21, he is now 26).

p.s. I do kind of look forward to shaving it but none of my mates have done it so Im abit terrified. I have also decided that when the contract Im working on ends, Im going travelling, hopefully kayak travelling down some gnarly white water in a far flung country.............and guess what Ill make it a sly trip just to find out whether I like it.
