Hey guys, thanks for letting me know about the slowness. In response, I have done the following:
Upgraded the server to a more powerful server
Optimized the forum code
Optimized the database
Switched ad servers
Removed old add-on features that weren't used anymore
From my side it appears to responding much faster. I've tested on multiple computers, browsers, tablets and phones. I do think Tapatalk is causing some slowness, but because so many people use it I'm going to keep it running.
Please let me know if you notice anything else.

I noticed all weekend when using tapatalk that this site rarely loaded. All of my other forums worked. Its loading today, but I still think it is slow when compared to other forums.

I don't envy your job. It is like building an airplane while flying it!
Our mail servers at work are running slow this week.
Sbg is still slow here at 4AM.
Sounds like you are trying the right things to fix the issue.

6:30 AM tuesday Texas time. It is still running slowly but I think it is faster than several days ago. I noticed you disabled the preview feature - still running slow after that. I am using latest safari and the latest Mac OS.

Tyler,
Thanks for your work , but it is still slow. I think that you are very right about the fact that it may be the aps. on phones.

It is a lot better than it was. The PM function still seems to be a bit slow.
