Hey guys, I have just ordered an ATX along with bottles of HeadSlick, HeadShed, HeadLube, HeadWash & ClearHead. I don't see any directions on the bottles so I am trying to figure out the routine.
I always shave in the shower as I prefer the easier clean up and I have a fogless shower mirror so it suits me fine.
So first of all do I use the HeadWash, rinse it out with warm water then use HeadShed, rinse it out with warm water then use HeadSlick and shave my head and rinse my freshly shaved head in cool water. Then do I rub in some ClearHead and then apply HeadLube over the top of the already applied ClearHead of do I wait a certain amount of time before putting on the HeadLube?
Also, is it fine to use this routine on my beard of are these products strictly for shaving the scalp?
Let me know as I just want to make sure I am doing everything strictly by the book.
You're making it too complicated!
Wash, shed, shaving cream, shave, rinse,aftershave.
I shave in the shower as well and don't bother with a cold water splash, it works for me.
I don't use all of the head blade products. I found, personally, washing and lathering then shaving has always worked, I'm just using a head blade now to shave.
Headwash, Headshed(every other day) Headslick lather up, shave, rinse,dry and apply Headlube works every time.
what are the reasons for;
1) the cold water, or ice cube rinse?
2) pat dry, as alternative to rubbing dry?

1. To ease the burning sensation from the razor and to keep your pores from closing up and creating razor bumps....or worse
2. That is a personal option, I don't see much difference between one or the other. (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)
Ive never had burning at all since using the headblade. That's why i like it so much. Maybe my skin isn't a sensitive or you guys are pushing too hard?
Agrees about cold water here. Feels good though the Headblade does not burn. Enjoy!
