Visit to barber and the result..
« on: October 09, 2012, 07:13:48 AM »
Hey guys :)

I was at the barber today.. First of all she was very stunned by my look.. I lost confidence in her very fast.. And when she started trimming it did get worse.. However I am quite pleased with the result.. Let me know what you think.. :)

And for comparison:

1. No beard:

2. 1.5 week bearding:

3. 1.75 months bearding:

Going sly might just be one of those things that will change my life :) Thanks! :)

Looks good...you certainly have the headshape for the chinstrap!

I guess it will look better over time when I lose more weight as I have very nice lineament (not sure if using the right word), that aren't seen at this point :)

Looking good mate, did you ask for a chinstrap, or did she suggest it? Personally I would have liked to have seen her work with the length you had... but I am biased, as I love big beards lol. But as I said, it does look good on you :D

That's finely shaped beard. Adds character. Consider keeping it.

Beardman, I asked her what would look good on me and she answered "I don't know" :D That was one of the moments I lost confidence in her. However it turned out great and I am loving my new look :) Will definitely keep it. :)

I am genuinely surprised at her work. I haven't been to a barber shop in years, but one of my fears is the barber trying to get me to look like--umm--every other person in the neighborhood.

Yeah, that would make me lose confidence too. She did a good job though, glad you are keeping it  O0
