Hair removal
« on: May 25, 2007, 01:22:26 PM »
I'm sure that this has been posted here before, but I was reminded of it with the recent thread on laser hair removal. As painful as this looks, I'd be tempted to give it a try if I could find somebody who knew how to do it properly:

I actually think i would try to lazer it off first...plus doesn't waxing not last that long?

Would love to have the whole head, really bald though with no shadow...very cool! O0

Looked very painful dude!
But if the noggin would stay bald without anything else for a long time it might be worth it!!

Anybody out there with any experience with this!!!

From what I know of laser removal is that it is very expensive and only works for light skinned individuals with dark hair. Also I believe that it does not affect dormant follicles so repeated visits are necessary.

The video seems to be about waxing, not Laser

Lasering is not without some discomfort - and it doesn't always get all the hair, though it can substantially reduce the amount of hair you have.   You also have to have dark hair and light skin for it to be effective.

As I posted earlier, I had my chest and abdomen done.  They are considerably less hairy than before but not 100% hair free.  I'm a little skeptical that a densely-haired scalp could be made completely and permanently hairless.  But everybody responds differently.  I'm anxious to hear how wabashtx makes out once his treatments are done.
