Why I am bald

I have had several hairstyles through the years. The high and tight, Flat top, crew cut. etc. I have also been in Emergency services most of my adult life and have found out that anything can get on you, and it is a whole lot easier seeing something on a bald head than one that has hair. It is also easier to cool off when coming out of a structure fire. In my entire life My hair has never been over a quarter inch not even once. (My dad is a retired firefighter as well ) And it is a whole lot cheaper to shave your head than go to a barber for 15 bucks a pop every week. Let us not mention the creepy crawlys that can get in your hair and that you can bring home with you. makes My skin crawl thinking about it.

For me, I was getting tired of the increasingly dominant gray.

However, now that I'm shaved I wish I'd done it long before gray even appeared. The look, feel, and easy maintenance makes it a no-brainer.
