Pampered by Nature Soaps... review
« on: October 11, 2012, 05:04:11 PM »
Hello fellow chrome domes:  Hope all is well with you and family.  Our own MikeKoz13 kindly sent me two samples of the Pampered by Nature Soaps.  I received the bay rum and the barbershop scent.

Today was my 1st test drive of the Pampered by Nature Soaps.  I tried the bay rum scent.  1st thoughts was the scent was not over-powering but it was rather lightly scented.  I could not create a thick, creamy, yogurt-like lather.  The lather was more airy than yogurt like.  It did not provide the glide and cushion on my face shave so I did not attempt to try it on my dome shave.

As much as I wanted to like it because it was a gift from my good friend Mike... the soap did not like me.  As a big fan of Mike's Natural Soap and Mystic Water Soap... the Pampered by Nature Soap did not compare.

All in all...since the Pampered by Nature Soap did not like me;  I will continue to be loyal to my two favorite shave soaps:  Mike's Natural Soap and Mystic Water Soap.  If you want a great performer get these two.

I want to thank Mike for the opportunity to try this soap.  Hope you enjoyed my review and hope your shaves are super smooth. O0

Notice how much creamier and thicker Mystic Water Soap,  Mike's Natural Soap, and TOBS shaving cream compared to Pampered by Nature.

I agree 100% with Mel's review. I'll also add a couple of things to the review my good Friend.

My lather kept drying up quickly while on my head and face so I had to keep "re-brushing".

The worst is yet to come......

I ordered these soaps over the web. I never received any kind of order confirmation so after two days I sent them an email. Nothing in return. I waited about a week and sent them another email. Again, nothing in return. ANother week later and I sent an email letting them know that my patience was done and if I didn't receive some type of correspondence within two days I would file a complaint with PayPal. Still nothing.... but then I went on vacation for four days. I was going to file with PayPal when I got home.

When I got home, there were the soaps. Simply wrapped in their tissue paper and put into a USPS mailing box. No correspondence , apology, explanation.... nothing.

This is totally unacceptable behavior by any business. Even if these were the best shave soaps I had ever used.... and they weren't even close...... I'd never buy them again.

Stay away from this small business.

Hi Mike:  Thanks for sharing Pampered by Nature Soaps terrible customer service.  Their poor customer service matches their inferior product.
