We still have snow. It got to 34 yesterday so some of it melted but not much. I woke up to another 4". In total we have close to 10" here in my area. In the city where I work, they have maybe 1/2" which is always interesting. We are only a few hundred feet higher in elevation and 20 miles north

It is a bugger , bills go up !  But I like to stay warm  .  To old to cut firewood, downstairs we have a gas fireplace.  I have a Amish , golden Oak, it is sweet and  keeps my cave nice and warm.  With all the injurys and diabetes Type 2  , wear cotton socks all the time, and it is all good !  Thanks, man for the update !   :)

It was very wet snow today. Folks were doing a decent job of driving on the highway until I got closer to town, then the bad drivers started showing up. Tonight when I got home, the driveway was a hassel to get up. Since the snow was wet I had to take a few tries at making it. Our driveway is about as long as a city block, so getting stuck at the bottom is never fun
I am a cold weather person so I do enjoy the cold much more than the heat. Like today when it was around 28, I just had jeans and a tshirt on and was perfectly comfortable.

It will start snowing here in about a month and stick around until about March next year.  I hate having to dig out cars in the morning, did out the front of the garage again to get car back in... Still, 20 years ago people would jump out of upstairs windows to leave house as otherwise they were snowed in!

We might get a snowfall here in January. Everything will be closed for a day or two until it melts. then the daffodils will start blooming the next day and we will be ready for spring. If we get 1 or 2 days of snow a winter we've had a bunch. Flowers are still blooming here in North Carolina, and 60's in the afternoons.

Here in SE Louisiana, thanks to an early morning shower, a cold front came in. Monday's high 76-Today the high may barely crack 60 with overnight lows in the 40s. At least no rain in the forecast for now.

I wish he had storms like that, that lasted for 13 hours. Although not this time of year... there would be too many bushfires!
