You have a good shaped head. You could heal up faster, as long as you don't shave the scabs off. I would give it a shot if I were you. You won't be happy until you do.

Mate I say just do it anyway, I used to get really bad scabs as well until I went sly, now my noggin has never been healthier. Everyone will come around to the idea once you do the deed. I think you will look great with a sly dome.

Hello there Cristian. Don't worry what others say and think, just do it! Once you start shaving, there will be a bit of blood, but the bumps and flaky scalp will eventually disappear as your scalp gets more used to it.

welcome, steverson.
You are almost bald already.taking taking off another 1/4 inch won't make any difference in the looks. It will feel great.
Now if you took off an inch from what you have now, that might be a bloody Mess! Don't do that. Just shave bald.
Good luck.

You need to do what you want, first of all.
If you think you'd be OK with the change, shave it all off and enjoy the feeling.
If that seems too abrupt then keep getting it shorter and shorter. And maybe reduce the time between cutting so you'll get to Total Sly sooner.
Stay focused on what you want.

Also agree with Frontier Guy. Completely disregard what others are telling you -- do what you want.
Just one tip though -- it is much better if your first shave doesn't cut you at all then there is no healing to do afterwards and you can really enjoy it right away.
So, go really slow and apply almost no pressure on the razor's head at all. You will find that the razor's head will glide over scabs and bumps without cutting them at all if there is very little pressure. Lately I've been shaving over the top of 2 moles on my scalp and it doesn't cut them at all but it does cut the hair.
It would also be easier it you only went with the grain for a while -- maybe until the scabs heal up. You will love the freedom.
Senti la libertà di calvizie.
