If I could shave twice a day and not have to worry about irritation, I would. I have to deal with MPB and I hate the shadow...
I also have more "products" in the shower now than I did before, headslick, headshed, KOS, clearhead, and I just bought some Bald Guyz shaving cream, I can't seem to find the right mix to deal with the sensitive head

Given it some thought and have figured out this obsession is a virus I contracted from BaldAndre
Glad I caught it though!
Hey,what the,hey?!
No...dude, I'm totally obssessed when it comes to having a perfectly clean, scraped dome...I'll admit it...nothin' like it...why torture myself for a day or two...the 5'0clock curse is something I would love to never have to deal with....
Don't know how you guys can even go that one day to let "you scalp heal?!... you girlymen!

Bald Guyz Shave Gel gets you real close so the smooth shave lasts longer. It also is real slick so you get more shaves from a blade. Check it out and let me know if you agree.

I'm getting ready to do a review of the Bald Guyz Shave Gel and I do agree that this stuff is VERY slick.

More to come in a couple of days.

I used to skip the shave on days when I was running late in the mornings. Now, no matter how late I am, I still have to shave. It's worth being a few minutes later to feel clean and sly for the rest of the day.

Ditto, RazorX, on all counts. I shave every morning but sometimes shave just before going out on Saturday night. That allows me to skip the Sunday shave, if I'm in a rush before mass. Monday begins the pattern all over again. My scalp is really sly for only four or five hours; after that, the stubble starts again. I am somewhat apprehensive about growing it back, "to see what's left." I admit to a kind conflict over this: part of me wants to remain absolutely bald for the rest of my life [to the point of considering laser treatment], yet another part makes me go on taking the supplements that are supposed to provide follicle stimulation. The decision will come when I run out of the pills. For the past two weeks I have held steady in my resolve not to reorder. Like Schro, I have been enjoying baldness so much since I first shaved in early November 2006 that I actually want to forfeit any other option. The pills are a hold-over of a time and image that have passed, irreversibly. Time to move on. Any observations, guys? All best, Professor Melon

I hope you aren't implying in that statement that I considered "options".

As I've stated since I came on this board in late 2006, I've never considered or used Rogaine, plugs, rugs, or supplements. I was resigned to the fact that I was destined for the hair horseshoe, and was OK with that. Ever since my "epiphany" at our 2006 couples' Halloween party, I have made the conscious decision to go sly. The fact that my painful scalp condition has left the building since going sly is a bonus I wasn't anticipating. I only wish the lovely Mrs. Schro would take to my look like I have. But since she hasn't, it's her problem, not mine.
For a guy that has "embraced the bald truth", insinuated that people suffer from image problems when they are deciding to go sly (me), and occassionally blasted people for their indecisiveness, I am totally shocked to be hearing this from you, Melon.

Join the club. I don't know what i'd do without a daily shave, and one of the reasons I know the look is meant to be is I cannot stand feeling any stubble(granted if I can feel a little in hard to get areas after finishing, I will just let it be until the next shave, but I might consider pushing that shave up in time)

Haha my addiction just escalated in the last few days. For the first few weeks I liked letting it grow 2-3 days but now i shave every other day or every day. Plus i just dropped like 50 bones over at headblade.com (w00t for the discount) since I dont like how my mach3 is workin on my dome.

Ok, Ok, it is beyond a shadow of a doubt a true obsession. Had a problem with my water pump for the house here yesterday. Had to go into town and get a new pump to be installed today. As a result no hot water.

I was heating water on the stove to fill the sink to shave because I did not want to go into town with stubble this morning. Extreme, maybe. But as the pioneer sly Yooper, I have an obligation.
