Skull caps under your helmet
« on: May 23, 2007, 05:16:43 PM »
I ordered one of these, http://www.schampa.com/Item.asp?IID=862

I had and issue where my 5:00 shadow would stick to the inside of my helmet.  It bothered me while riding, especially at the crown of my head, felt like it was sticking to the helmet padding.

This thing is great, doesn't stick like velcro, and the helmet slides on and off easily.  I never knew it was there.  No seams to imprint the head from a tight helmet.  No sweating inside the helmet stinking it up.  I highly recommend it.

I also got a couple of couple of their mesh bandanna's.  http://www.schampa.com/Item.asp?IID=962

Wore one all afternoon at Myrtle Beach bike week, didn't stick to the velcro and kept my dome protected from the sun without over heating.  I usually wear a cotton head wrap like this welding to protect the head, I wouldn't wear one of the mesh ones welding, the nylon would melt.  But for just wearing around on the beach or doing yard work, highly recommended.  Much cooler then the standard cloth head wraps.

Now that I would buy, I haven't bought a T-shirt yet because, well, I have tons of t-shirts.

Paul, I need to get a picture of me and my bike to give your Hardley some competition and class   :*))
