What's up everybody?
First off, I would like to thank everyone here on SlyBaldGuys for providing this excellent forum and community.
I remember when I was a young my grandfather would give me and my brothers buzz cuts every summer and I hated it. The reason I hated it was because I had large ears for the size of my head and it just felt goofy on me. So when it was finally my choice (around 8-10 years old) I haven't had a buzz cut since. I am now 21 years old.
As I got older I started to notice my hairline receding, mainly around the temple area. My hair is receding very slowly just like my grandfathers, pretty much along the temples. It doesn't bother me because My hair is usually longer and really curly.
I was planning on growing my hair out initially. As I was growing out my hair everyone was up my a** about getting it cut and saying it looked bad. So the other night I had a few drinks and thought about what I will do about my hair.
So I decided to shave it all off. I didn't have electric clippers, but I did however have some antique hand clippers. (I will post pics if you want to see them) I was thoroughly surprised by how sharp and well these worked. Afterward I lathered up, shaved with the grain, lathered up again, and shaved against the grain.
I was shocked at how good it looks, considering how bad it use to look. It feels amazing. So smooth and so free. I am already hooked.
Okay here are some before and after pics.
Before. 05/20/12 My hair got much longer than this growing another 4 months. I will try to find something recent.

After 09/14/112
I have some tanning and maintenance to do before it will really look good.

Any input or feedback is appreciated thanks.
