• Hello my name is Lasae Simpson I was actually on this site awhile back but never really had the time to log in or get into it. I have constantly fought with using a razor I love the look however it never works correctly when I do it. I have tried a couple times and always seem to bump up and go back to using clippers which don't get me bald at all so i'm looking for help. I am a school teacher slash aspiring minister who loves the Lord as well as people look forward to meeting you all God bless.

• Welcome aboard! If you check out some of the threads in various categories, it can help you improve your head shaving with a razor. Here are some of the things that I invest in to prevent razor bumps. Witch Hazel, skin exfoliant, bump patrol/bump stopper and a razor with at least three blades. Do you wash your scalp before shaving? Keeping your scalp clean is a must to prevent pores from clogging up and preventing razor bumps. If you have any questions, just ask and the fellows here will give some tips. Good Luck!

• I guess I sort of owe you an apology.....I thought your screen name was a typo and then I looked back at your intro and saw that you are an aspiring minister! "saved slick" nice play on words there! FWIW, I went to a funeral for a friend's father just before Hurricane Isaac hit and all but two of the ministers were sly (there were eight).....I think you will fit in nicely as a sly minister! Good luck with that also.
