anyone heard of these? lots of positive reviews, it doesn't actually sharpen the blade but cleans it down to a microscopic level (allegedly) Might be nice for those of you (like myself) who have to buy the expensive cartridges for their razors.

Back when I used to use cartridges on my face,  I found this to be very effective for prolonging the life of the blades.

Hmmmm.....
After reading the reviews, it looks as if you are correct, more of a cleaner than a sharpener.
From what I get out of it, couldn't you do the same thing with a sheet of silicon?
Just wondering.

*shrug* i don't know. I go through cartridges pretty fast and people claim it pays for itself after a while I figured I would give it a shot.

Read some of the 1 star reviews on Amazon.  I get great results by using a towel as a strop; I hang the towel from the top of the door and wrap it around the door edge so I strop the blade against a firm surface.

There are products like this on amazon or you do the blue jeans trick seen on youtube to extend the life of your razor
