Not feeling safely secure...
« on: September 02, 2012, 03:39:09 PM »
...as my roommate sells marijuana in the house.  :/O I told him I'll be moving on Sept 15th but may leave a lil earlier. I paid rent til the 15th but when I originally moved in, he let me stay a week and half unpaid so he can keep the money. My safety is worth more.

Good luck to you....more often than not it's always the innocent bystanders who get hurt....or worse.

If he sells it in the house he must have a lot stashed...neither is very smart. If/when the authorities break down your door at 0300 you ain't gonna be able to talk fast enough to beat the rap. And they love to confiscate everything in site, ie your iPad, Ipod, Ilaptor, Ibigscreen and probably even your Head Blade.
It would be a smart move to pack your ruck sack and stay with a an amigo limpio. El camaron que duerme, la corriente lo se lleva.

Very wise to put distance between you and roomie as quickly as you can.

And good for you to realize it is a bad situation and not just let it be.

Sage advice from the Bros...
Wise move to leave before the Federalis pay you and roommate an o'dark thirty surprise party.

Cheers,
Ro

Did you mean to say your iHead Blade?

I agree. Great time to get out.  You don't need the MJ baggage in close proximity.

I think its smart to get out of there!
Life has three aspects: Paradox, Humor, and Change.

Paradox: Life is a mystery; don't waste time figuring it out.
Humor: Keep a sense of humor, especially about yourself. It is a strength beyond all measure
Change: Know that nothing stays the same.

The right time to get out of a situation like the one you are in is about 5 seconds after you first recognize the situation.  I once discovered that a roommate was selling cocaine from the apartment and keeping it in our common refrigerator.  I left that night and stayed with friends until I could get another place to stay.

You are definitely doing the right thing, I would certainly be getting out of dodge sooner rather then later!
