Bald by choice and nature
« on: August 30, 2012, 10:11:28 PM »
I started with the summer buzz cuts in my early teens mainly because my, then thick long hair, got in my face while swimming, was incredibly hot and sweaty and of course buzz cuts looked cool in old movies.

Through the years I tried a lot of hairstyles, long, short, mohican, beaded, braided.... you name it. But to be frank, the freedom and confidence (it's a choice) a hair free head gives is the best.

Sure my hair line started to reseed and the stuff on top thinned out, but as others started to grow what was left longer I returned to what I've done before. Using the clipper on and off for 10-12 years, usually skipping the winters, since they can be brutal in Sweden but always going short in the summer, I finally for about 7-8 years ago got in the shower with a razor. There's no looking back from that.

I just moved on to electric as you can read about here,    http://www.slybaldguys.com/smf/index.php?topic=17468.msg279495#msg279495 and I am planning to stay there!

Have a smooth head!

Welcome! You won't find a finer and more supportive group of guys and gals on the 'net!
Life has three aspects: Paradox, Humor, and Change.

Paradox: Life is a mystery; don't waste time figuring it out.
Humor: Keep a sense of humor, especially about yourself. It is a strength beyond all measure
Change: Know that nothing stays the same.
