I got to try two of the three products last night. I tried the "Clean" and the "Smooth". I used both products after shaving (since i had a two day growth).
I'll post an additional review of the "Heal" product after I get a chance to use it. (probably next week)
First about the "Clean":
The product is an almost clear gel. After I squeezed it into my palm, I took a finger and kind of pushed it around to check the texture. It definetly has a small amount of very fine grit in it (for exfoliating). The amount of grit was so small I had some doubts about it doing it's intended task very well. The scent is awesome.... sort of a very mild, semi-citrusy scent..... very nice indeed.
I used about a pea size drop (Dennis had said to be sure to use a very small amount of all of the products) and as I looked at the amount in my hand I thought "There is no way that this little bit of product is going to do it's job on my big head". BUT... I placed my palm on my head and started spreading the product around and to my surprise it WAS snough product! Then I took both palms and spread it around and the scent was so, so nice. The product is pretty slick so spreading it and using is was very simple. The product rinsed away nicely and left my head feeling very clean and refreshed.
Next up the "Smooth":
This product is a smooth white cream. Again... just about a pea size drop. The product scent is just a nice clean, simple, understated scent that compliments the "Clean" product nicely. I love moisturizing products that have just clean almost non-existent scents.... that way i can still wear an after shave and not have clashing scents. This product is just that.
The product went on easily and smoothly... and that small drop was definetly enough. The product wasn't greasy or thick and sticky and it rinsed off my hands easily. Very nice.
Some general comments about the two products.
1) There is no doubt that these are premium products... one use proves that.
2) The scents are clean and masculine
3) My head and face felt absolutely great after using the products... clean and invigorated
4) Small amounts are definetly all you need
5) The amount of product needed to do the job vs. the costs we were provided last week... I think these products are a good value when you consider that a tube will last a nice amount of time and they do an excellent job.
An added benefit: My wife IMMEDIATELY noticed that "you smell different". I commented that I had on an after shave that I don't use too often. She said it wasn't my after shave... "come here" she said. She sniffed around and said "It's your head... it smells great".
Conclusion: Top notch products... both of them. I REALLY like these prodcuts a lot. Couple that with great service from Dennis and his team AND the fact that these are USA products... and this is a winner for me. I'll definetly be purchasing these products when they get to the mass market.
