headlube....is it any good? does it really make your dome shine? I want to order, and idk if it's worth to order one or two.

I think that Head lube is great. I use both glossy matte and the SPF 30 one. It makes my head softer and I think it promotes a better shave. If you use the glossy don't use more than half a size of a dime. Otherwise your head will look like a marble floor. If you use the headshade or any sunscreen I wouldn't use glossy I would use matte, or just go with the Headlube SPF 30. I highly recommend all of them.

I like HeadLube and have both Matte and Glossy - use whichever one suits my whim of the moment.

Like HeadSlick, a little goes a long way.

As much as I love HeadSlick.... I don't like HeadLube. To me it's just too thick and it made my head fell "suffocated".

It's been a couple of years since I used it so maybe it's reformulated or maybe I would even feel differently about it if I tried it now. My initial experience though.... not so good.

I'm not a fan of HeadLube.  While it gives a nice shine, my head feels sticky in about an hour after I use it.  I prefer Nivea Sensitive After-shave Balm.  It's a nice light moisturizer that never feels sticky or oily.

I took the SPF HeadLube on vacation a couple weeks ago.  It worked well, but I noticed that it didn't absorb very well.  Instead it left a white haze on my skin.

The haze is the same reason that I don't use it too often.

It's been a while since I used it, but it's there for using now that the new academic year is on the horizon and I might want to stun my students with rays of light.  I don't notice any negative effects, but in what pertains to the dome, I'm not as fussy as some who post here.  I'm not wedded to any highfalutin new razor, new soap, or new headbalm.  When I use it, it produces a fine glisten, and whatever's left on the palm, I just rub on the bod... not that I care about my chest and its shine in public.

I think this is nearly a non-issue.  That is, the plus or minus of this product.  If you like it, fine; if you don't, that's OK too.  Don't over-analyze.

I would order head clear. It works great. It feels like a hornets nest is stinging your head when you put it on sometimes, but it keep my head nice and clear so I don't care.

That stinging is caused by the alcohol in ClearHead.  It works well. Witch hazel is an alternative that works as effectively, costs less and doesn't sting as much.
