I first used he clippers w/no guard the week before 9/11 when I was 27.
I've used the clippers ever since, but I finally decided to go sly (for good) a week and a half ago at age 39.
So you know the value of extremely short hair, and now you're learning the joys of absolutely NO HAIR. Smooth as silk every morning, unless your blades are worn out.

BBC just about two months now at the young age of 48...
I like to see these BBC guys at an older age just shaving the dome. We don't have to. We want to. I still check it out in the mirror and think, it that really me with the bald head?

I like that, Sir Harry. Unintentional at 13! Doesn't every kid cut his hair at some point in an intended way?
You look good sly. Look at the memorable details of head shaving. In a sense, it is a big deal.

Thanks, Mr. Z.! The unintentional at 13 happened (I was in eighth grade, Spring 1986) because my neckline hair was itching and I was trying to shape it up. The phone rang and I got distracted and cut too far up and my neckline had a funny shape. After being ridiculed at school, I couldn't get to a barber (it was a Monday) so to avoid being the butt of jokes, I just shaved it bald....I still was ridiculed but not as bad as I was when I had the messed-up neckline....Amazing I can remember something that happened more than a quarter-century ago!

41. (I'm 42 now, a few weeks later). Don't know if being "over the hill" qualifies me as being 'older' or not...

40. Funny, never thought of it. Not a mid life crisis thing, just happen to be the time I made the decision (New Year's Day 2007).
