I've been shaving my head for years. This morning I was in a hurry and slashed my head to pieces.
Some days just go like that.
I find cuts are usually due to blade dullness.. or going too fast/ not carefully where hair meets the skin (edge of hairline on top, behind ear)
Every time I've cut myself it's been after putting a fresh blade on. I have a few tricky spots where I don't get as close of a shave as I'd like.
baldOUfan, I sometimes cut myself in the same place. That area can be tricky, especially doing it blind.
Like greatnessinc, my cuts are almost always due to a new blade. I switched razors today and got two small cuts on the rear of my head. It was probably my fault for going a little too fast. All you can really do is hope they heal fast, I guess.
I now take a little extra time on the tough spots. Timewise it's probably 50/50 on 80% of my head and the 20% that is tricky.
Yes I so get that with the cuts. I have one spot on the left side of my head that always seems to catch and is likely where I will cut myself. I do find that going over a spot too much will do it too but hey all of us are doing the same thing- trying to get smooth with no stubble feeling after shave. Usually it does not bleed too much and stops quickly.
I have had all of the above - just above either ear, right at the hair line on either temple or the bump in the back - I just make sure I concentrate and go slow in those areas then rock out on the rest of it.
