hi
I am Yann, I live in France, I'm 37, I have no problem with hair loss. But I like to wear short hair.
For some years I want to shave my head.
I'm a little afraid of the reactions of my family and my co-worker.
this year, for my summer holidays i decide to do it , so i did it !
I was a little stressful, but I think the result it correct. I love my new look
A little bit of tan on the head ll give a better result
Unfortunately I could not keep my head shaved to return to work.
But I love the result!
What do you think

french people have a low opinion of men shaved by choice.
if you are shaved, because you have a bald spot, it's not a problem,
if you are BBC, you are a bad boy

I recently spent 6 weeks travelling round Frnce (my favourite country after my home country of Australia) and I was surprised that only a few men had shaved heads. In country areas virtually none. I then crossed to Germany mainly in larger cities and there were plenty of sly heads there.
Yann, if you want to keep your head shaved just do it as from the photos you are a natural. Forget about other people it is all about what you want. -

Welcome, Yann! The sly look really suits you. Maybe you are ahead of the curve in France. Just by going out in public you can teach by example and get some more guys to join you! Could be the start of a trend.

I know it may be difficult, but perhaps you can contribute by changing the perceptions in your country. If people see you are bald by choice and you have a nice personality with no "skinhead" connotations, you are well dressed etc, then you can make a difference. -

I think it looks great on you, Yann. Makes you look younger. In the end, you should do what makes you happy. Anyone who would judge you based on your looks is not worth knowing, anyway. -
