Visible, bulging head veins getting me down

HI guys, I'm new to this forum, but I am 25 and have been shaving my head due to MPB since I was 18.

This past few months however, I have became increasingly concerned about veins on my head becoming prominent and bulging.

As soon as I bend forward slightly, I have rippling veins all over my scalp show up. When I lie my head back at night they show up too and my partner has noticed they are getting worse. But even when I am not bent over there are a few veins around my temple area which are always there.

I went swimming the other day and my neice said I was scaring her as I looked like the hulk!

THis cannot be attributed to fitness or a low body fat percentage as I am not overly fit and somewhat chubby.

Anyone else suffer from this?

Ill try and get a picture soon but I havent got a camera at home just now. I just searched and while this guy is tensing hard and its somewhat exaggerated, its not a million miles away from this

Hmmm I can see why your concerned, it's not a good look. I would go to your GP if I was you and ask him for advice.

and what did he say your bp readings were when you were showing such extreme vascularity?

Mate, if it's worrying you or you are getting concerned then go back. Hes a professional and shouldn't be laughing it off. It's not normal if your veins are sticking out like that video even when your not upside down or lying down. Get yourself back and explain to him that you want an explanation as to why it's occurring and suggestions in what to do. Good luck.

Welcome to the bald brotherhood Obstacle. I notice bulging head veins when I am  really tired or when having a migraine attack but it does not happen often. If it worries you that much, visit a physician to put your mind at ease.

I watched your video.  Maybe if you were not straining so much the viens would not be so prominate.  Just a guess.

The guy in the youtube video isnt me..I just used it for an example. It never looks THAT extreme.

My blood pressure is normal..
